Yale New Haven Health Pediatric Behavioral Health Clinic Renovation

Petra completed the renovation of first-floor space within Yale New Haven Hospital’s West Pavilion to create a new Pediatric Behavioral Health Suite. The project included patient rooms, observation bays, support spaces, and upgraded MEP infrastructure. Designed with patient safety in mind, the suite features anti-ligature and tamper-resistant fixtures, reinforced walls and ceilings, specialized plumbing, and a circadian lighting system that mimics natural daylight. Completed within an occupied hospital on an accelerated schedule, the project required careful coordination of specialty materials, complex installations, and ongoing hospital operations.
