Yale University Farnham Memorial Building Laboratory Renovation and Infrastructure Upgrade
The Farnam Memorial Building 4th Floor Laboratory Renovation was a comprehensive upgrade of approximately 9,000 square feet, combining a full lab fit-out with major building infrastructure improvements. The project transformed the fourth floor into advanced laboratory, office, and support spaces, supported by extensive HVAC and mechanical system upgrades, new windows, masonry repairs, and custom millwork. Significant roof-level work included replacement of aging air handling units and installation of new rooftop systems, all while the building remained occupied. Careful phasing and coordination allowed operations to continue throughout construction. The project was completed more than one month ahead of schedule and under budget, delivering a modern, efficient laboratory environment with long-term value.
