The Petra team joined Goodspeed Musicals Trustees, Leadership, and Donors on May 16th for their ribbon-cutting ceremony. The project featured a renovated front entrance with the addition of an ADA ramp to the front entrance of the Goodspeed, an expanded porch, automatic-open front doors, energy-efficient lighting along with a complete renovation of the parking area. The renovations were completed in time for the start of Goodspeed’s 2025 season.
Located along the scenic Connecticut River, the Goodspeed Opera House was built in 1876 and last renovated in 1963. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, it is a celebrated regional theatre and a longstanding cornerstone of American musical theatre.
We’re proud to have played a part in preserving and enhancing this iconic landmark!
