Yale University Film Studies Center Renovation

Petra was selected as the Construction Manager to renovate existing library and office space for the Film Studies Center. Located on the 7th Floor of the Sterling Memorial Library, the new 3,000 square foot suite consists of a large screening room with adjacent projection booth, three viewing booths, and cold film storage room and offices. The 23-seat screening room contains acoustic panels on the walls and acoustic plaster ceiling for soundproofing. The scope also included restoration of existing plaster moldings and walls as well as restoration of leaded glass doors and windows.
