One of the largest renovations in the Church's 300-year history included the installation of massive structural members of wood and steel, reinforcement of the attic trusses and steeple framing, and replacement of the entire sanctuary ceiling and lighting system. The 60,000 pound oversized steeple, which originally served as a navigational guide for ships in Long Island Sound, received structural reinforcements and a complete restoration.
