Quinnipiac University, Pine Grove North

Now known as the Dean Robert W. Evans College of Arts and Sciences Center, this new 24,000-square-foot, three-story classroom and administrative facility was completed in only ten months to support the university’s scheduling requirements. The structure has a number of distinctive characteristics, like an entry vestibule that was created and fitted by Petra's in-house millshop to mimic an old Chinese pagoda. The owner, architect, and Petra worked diligently together to lower the original planned cost by 15% in order to satisfy budgetary demands.
